Donna Pinard-Hayes, CDA, EFDA

Donna Pinard-Hayes graduated from Champlain College with an Associates degree in Science and a Certified Dental Assistant's degree in 1980. In 2003, she gained advanced training certification as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant from the Center for Technology in Essex, VT. Donna loves working in the dental field and loves working with her fellow team members. She has a very active family life and enjoys supporting her children in their numerous sports activities. Donna holds professional memberships with the American Dental Assistants Association, Dental Assistants National Board, National Dental Assistants Association and Academy of General Dentistry.

Mary Gibbo, CDA

Mary graduated from Champlain College with an Assoiates degree in Science in 1981 and a Certified Dental Assistant's degree thru the college's dental assisting program in 1981. Mary has 26 years of experience in the field of Dentistry as a dental assistant. In December of 2005, Mary joined Colchester Dental Group. Mary loves interacting with patients and also is the dental materials coordinator for our office. Mary enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping, playing guitar, and traveling.

Margaret Buxton, CDA, EFDA

Margaret Buxton graduated from Champlain College with and Associates degree in Science and a CDA degree in 1981. In 1984 she completed licensing training to be and Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) from Manor Junior College in Jenkintown, PA. Margaret started her love for dentistry while working for her father at the age of 15.

Vermont has been her home since May 1983 after she moved here from NJ. She became active in the Vermont Dental Assistants Association (VDAA) and has held the position of Treasurer and President. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and training with dental assisting students while they are interning at the office. From September 2006 to June 2007 Margaret taught at the Center for Technology in Essex in the Dental Assisting program. She also assists in teaching the EFDA program during the summer months. Her family keeps her busy with their love of soccer and hockey and Margaret is herself an avid UVM hockey fan.

Melissa Arel, CDA

Melissa Arel graduated from Center for Technology of Essex in 2001 from the Dental Assisting program. She then became a Certified Dental Assistant in 2007. Melissa has seven years of experience as a Dental Assistant and loves dentistry. In December 2007, Melissa joined Colchester Dental Group. Her friendly and caring touch will put you at ease in the dental chair. In Melissa's free time she likes to bike, cross country ski, travel, crafts and enjoys the outdoors.
