Our Services

Porcelain veneers are extremely thin casings of ceramic that are bonded to the front of the patient's tooth to create a new smile. Porcelain veneers are placed over the front of teeth that appear too small or large, slightly discolored, or simply are not cosmetically pleasing to the patient. For many patients, teeth may have chipped, become discolored, or are slightly misaligned. For the majority of these patients, porcelain veneers can prove to be the perfect solution.

When placing porcelain veneers, we pay close attention to the patients surrounding teeth and design each veneer to complement the overall smile. The result is a beautiful, attractive new smile.

If cared for properly, your veneers will last you a long time. We ensure that your new veneers are constructed of the most durable porcelain materials available.

The procedure begins with treatment planning for your new smile. During this process, we will evaluate your smile to decide how many veneers would be needed to properly restore your smile. We feel strongly about conserving as much natural tooth structure as possible when treatment planning veneers, which is why we offer Lumineers to our patients as an alternative to traditional veneers.

Lumineers require minimal to no preparation or removal of tooth structure which is normally required for traditional veneers. No anesthesia is required and all that is needed to start the treatment process are impressions. Lumineers can be made to be as thin as a contact lens or 0.3mm in thickness. This ensures a natural and not an overcontoured look to the new veneers. Lumineers also provides a solution for permanent whitening of your teeth as the porcelain will not stain over time. Unlike traditional veneers, you will not need provisional or temporary veneers after leaving or office for the first visit, although a mock-up restoration can be provided at your request to see what your new smile will look like with Lumineers.

At the second visit, the Lumineers are bonded to your natural tooth structure. We have our patients come back 7-10 days later for a final check and polish of the veneers. Lumineers are the only veneers backed by clinical research showing longevity of 20 or more years. However, Lumineers may not be the best choice for all patients to restore their smile. Other considerations must be taken into acccount, such as the need for orthodontics to correct severe misalignment. In some cases, traditional veneers may also be the right treatment, so we make sure our consultation visit answers all of your questions and tailors a treatment plan that is right for you.
